The recent government changes to the local housing allowance and housing benefit and other welfare benefits are beginning to impact on tenants and homeowners as they struggle to adjust to the changes and in some circumstances it can lead to homelessness.
The aim of our service is to reduce homelessness by providing support, advice and information to enable people to manage and maintain their home independently. In order to be able to help more people we are extending our service into the community to provide drop-ins for more easily accessible support for people with housing support needs.
